Board Room Essay

Hello my name is Darell Kumontoy and with my product you can turn on and off lights in the click of a button. My product is the one and only light remote. The light remote gives people a sense of power. The light remote is also accessible from ages zero all the way to 100. The deal is amazing you don’t want to miss out on this. The light remote is great in many different ways such as the following. The light remote is a great product because it gives people a sense of power. It can turn on and off any artificial light source from up to 100 yards away. If I could do that I know I would feel powerful; likewise with the people watching the program. It also lets people turn off and on the lights whenever or wherever they choose to.  Plus the light remote comes with a charger so you don’t have to worry about buying batteries and wasting so much money.  IT makes people feel great and I bet you and your customers want to feel great.                        The light remote is also accessible to all ages! It doesn’t matter if your one or if your even 100years old, the light remote is easy to use.  As you might know it is pocket sized made to fit ain any shirt, jacket, and pants pocket. It’s great for trips all around the world just slide it in your pocket and your ready to go. Millions of people use and order this product every day. If millions of people already have this product why wouldn’t the people want this product?             The light remote is cheap and easy to buy. It is 19.95 dollars with separate shipping and handling which I think is a pretty good price for this one hundred dollar value. Also if you call in the next two hours after the commercial starts we will throw in another light remote absolutely free of charge. So you pay 19.95 for two light remotes, the deal can’t get any better than this. Also find out about free shipping. If you do this then I assure you your channel views will go up. All the leading clap light brands say that no one likes our product and that it is so cheap that if you drop it will break into pieces. Well first of all, Barack Obama has this remote and so do millions of satisfied customers. Also the light remote is virtually indestructible.  Clap light products are very unreliable sometimes our clap and they don’t even turn on and or off. Clap remote products are worthless when you can just get the light remote. So basically the light remote product is a great deal and if you put it on after the three o clock news you won’t be sorry.                                                                                                                                                           All in all If you don’t put this product up after the 3 o’clock news your views would probably stay the same and you would just live life normally. So, if I were you I would make the right decision and put his product on. The light remote has brought a sense of power to people. The light remote is accessible to any age. The deal is great and I don’t think anyone person would want to pass out on it. The light remote is probably the greatest thing that could happen to this news channel. Even right now we have millions of satisfied customers we will have a lot more if we put it after the news. The number of views will skyrocket up.  You don’t want to miss out on this so the smart thing to do would be to put it on if you want to see a difference in your channel viewers. So put it on today.

Comercial Thoughts

My partner in my comercial was Matthew and our product was the light remote. We made are comercial at school and we actually did a not bad job although, I thought it could have been better. I htought it we hasd made it at one of our houses it could have been better. We could have added a ton of more features such as letting Matt's little brother in the video which would have made the video seem more exciting. We also could have paused the video at certain times and actually do things like turn the lights on and off during the part when Matt speaks by himself and demonstrates the light remote. We could have put special effects from the computer. Well, we could have done many more things. Although maybe we did not do it at a house when we did it at school we made pretty good and i'm happy with what we have.

Familly traditions

I bet everybody has something special that only their family does such as watching football on Sunday nights or maybe a family movie night on Tuesdays. My share on family traditions like the ones said before is that on Sundays my family and I go to church. My family and I start getting dressed at about 12:30. We eat some lunch first and afterwards we put  on nice clothes like dress pants and a suit. We put our stuff in the car and we dry off to church. When we get to the church I play drums at the church while everybody else are singing songs. At the end after all the singing my dad who is the pastor preaches to the people. After the church service comes to a climax and we all do home. That is my family tradition.

new teacher

Previously, I had got a new substitute because my teacher was pregnant and had to leave to deliver the baby. at first I thought oh no what if the substitute is mean and I began to think about all sorts of pessimistic things about my new substitute. That day my fellow classmates and I was hoping that the substitute would be mean because we didn't want to have to deal with a mean teacher for a whole marking period. Then that's when she walked in holding a cup of coffee in one hand and on her face was a big smile on her face. The teacher introduces herself and we introduce are selves to her as well. Once I had met the substitute I knew that the marking period ahead would be a great marking period.

Holiday Traditions

Everybody celebrates holidays no matter what country your from. These are  a couple of holidays I celebrate through the months of November and December. Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years. On Thanksgiving I usually go and celebrate it at a family or friends house. Many people come to the house so-that we can celebrate together. First we say a prayer of thanks. Thanking god for all the things he has blessed us with. Then we all enjoy a great Thanksgiving dinner. We continue celebrating until night and then we all drive home.
The next holiday I want to talk about is my personal favorite holiday Christmas. Christmas is my favorite because its the time when you gather together and give gifts to your family and friends. On Christmas my family and I organize a Christmas celebration in my church and we invite people to come celebrate with us. We have dinner, performances, and a sermon sure to be enjoying. We celebrate and when everybody leaves we have to clean up the whole entire place.
The last holiday I celebrate is New years. New Years is a very special time of the year due to the fact that the old year passes and the new year comes. On New Years I gather with my family and friends to somebodies house. Then we sit down and recite a short prayer thanking god for giving us a new year. Then we enjoy some food while watching the New years celebration in New York. We wait and wait until the New Years ball drops and shatters on the ground that's when we all yell happy New Years!!!! Then we keep on celebrating until we get tired. Then we go home to sleep.
All in all those are some of the holidays I celebrate and my holiday traditions.

Personal Narrative

Where are you Apooh?

“Yes, finally leaving Atlantic City,” I said in excitement. I ferociously grabbed my clothes and shoved them in my empty suitcase along with all my other things that I had brought with me to keep me at least a little entertained. Soon, my suitcase that was once empty had been filled with an overflowing amount of clothes and toys. It had looked like an avalanche of clothes and toys and things had just fallen down and had just happen to tumbled into my suitcase. In other words I was a mess. I struggled to shut the suitcase but in time it shut. I was just hoping that the locks wouldn’t swing open and all my stuff would fall out. I was packed and ready to go. My mom had asked everybody if they had their stuff and we all answered yes knowing that we had everything but turns out I didn’t have all my stuff I forgot the one thing that was most precious to me. We all hurtled out of the hotel room and went to the elevator and I stood there what I had lost.
“Ding!” The elevator opened up to floor 1 where we had to check out of the hotel. My mom had told me to sit down in the waiting area so I walked over there and comfortably sat in a blue couch. As I was sitting in the waiting area with my brother we saw all the people coming in and out of the big hotel. I loved looking at the spinney door spin it was always so fascinating. I loved the whole concept of it. We waited and waited until finally we heard, “Dillon and Darell we have to leave now”, my mom said.                                                                                                          “Ok where coming don’t worry,” Dillon and I said enthusiastically. We went out threw the spinney door and crept closer to my car. It is a black sedan parked neatly in the parking area. We all entered into the tiny car. My dad put the silver key into the keyhole and turned it 90 degrees so the car would turn on.  Then he pulled out of the driveway. He spun around to the open road and waited till the roads were clear. When he saw that they were clear he drove off.                                           In the car I held my suitcase and I thought,”I’m tired I want to go to sleep now.” I opened my suitcase and things just fell out. I searched and searched for it but couldn’t find it. “Where’s Apooh?” I asked.                                                                                    “Apooh?” My mom said                                                                                                              “Yeah my brown bear where is he?” I said. My mom shrugged. That’s when I knew I had forgotten him at the hotel. He was what I slept with every night. He was always there when I was afraid. I brought him everywhere and now he’s gone. Tears formulated in my eyes I just couldn’t help it I cried and cried yelling, “Turn this car around!” Even though I knew we were too far away. I remember all the times I played with him and all the adventures we had. Now he’s gone and in time I learned to deal with that. I just wish I could go back to that time and get the bear. Today I still remember that day and now I never forget something at a hotel again.

Are You Proud Of Your Country?

Patriotism Essay                           Are You Proud Of Your Country?

Patriotism.  What defines it? It was what drove our men in green into the perilous depths of war to fight for liberty’s cause. It was what defied the odds when England enslaved us to shackles. It was, and is the reason why our flag still so beautifully bellows in the air. Patriotism is loyalty.
Patriotism was evident in our hearts from the beginning and thus, it serves as our countries foundation along with liberty and justice for all. In the war against England, we were greatly outnumbered by the thousands. Yet still, with a unresilient and ungiving spirit, we were able to push through to defy the odds. What we discovered fighting side by side, what we discovered by fighting with a common patriotism, was that we had unity. One so binding, that without it we may not be the United States that we are today.
As of today, patriotism is as well the reason why the leaders of our nation, such as Barack Hussein Obama, our commander and chief, stand for this country with pride. There endeavors selfless, not for their own sake, but for the sake of their country. Men and women today don’t just volunteer for nothing let alone risk their lives for something unworthy but for a cause driven by loyalty, by devotion, a cause driven by patriotism. I believe, that though we may be in an economic ditch, our patriotism will help us fill the gap to rise yet again. Such is the reason why we as a people, have stood strong to this very moment.
Through our nation’s mutual sense of patriotism, we will build upon the basis set by our forefathers, and pave the road towards a bright, and assuring tomorrow. What future is there to fear in a nation with so much allegiance? Patriotism is not just who we are, but who we are as people of this great nation under God.
So yet again, I implore you to think, what defines patriotism. Patriotism is loyalty and more importantly, why I am proud to be an American and a proud member of my country.
